Von Toojax Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 Hi Just wanted to share some 'real world' tactics that I have found work well in CMBB When in defence: Place heaviest weapons first (from armour/88's to HMG's)then build infantry positions around to support/protect them Depth - place units so they are not in a 'thin line' Arcs - all arc should be interlocking Mutual support - all unit positions should be able to support one another Concealment - hide until the last possible minute Reserves - always keep a reserve (even if its half a squad) to counterattack onto a taken postion Offensive spirit - be prepared to counterattack once you think you have beaten off the 'coup de main' General Armour works best in pairs - tanks on their own are more vunerable then you think APC's are not tanks best used in a stand off position and used to 'fire in' an infantry assault Probably been cover before, but I hope that helps 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
