LordCalvert
Yesterday, playing a TCP/IP-game with my for ever nemesis, I (we) ran into some problems. The game was a QB and we decided to use a map of a previously played QB including the remnants of the combatants of that earlier fight. I hosted, started a QB, imported the map (wich I had saved immediately following the last turn) from the "saved games" folder, bought new troops and waited for my nemesis to connect, wich he did without any problem. My computer loaded the QB and I got the old QB map (including craters and destruction), my new units as well as my old, but only the russian tank wrecks (my wrecks). I deployed and hit "GO!" and when my nemesis did the same my computer proceeded to uploading his units 3D graphics...and then nothing. I had to reboot. Now, has anyone experienced this? My theory as a layman is that the computer got confused when it had to load both the OLD wrecks and units of my nemesis (wich I presume are saved on my host computer) AND his NEW units (wich have to be loaded from his computer to my host computer). Could this be the case or am I missing something? (Playing the AI this problem doesn´t occur. Everthing works fine then.)
