MikeT Posted May 15, 2003 Share Posted May 15, 2003 For all CMMOS fans, I have submitted my CMMOS how to tutorial documents to two websites for downloads. I sent copies out and got good reviews. The files include two readme files, one doc and one txt file, my CMMOS mod starter files which I use to make mods, a CMMOS example mod using Gautrek's dusty Marder III, some filelists which are needed to bring CMMOS up to date for mods that have been done but not released yet, and finally a new ruleset called DIY-Do It Yourself. This last ruleset is critical to the how to. Right now anyone wanting to make a public CMMOS mod must get a ruleset number from me. The DIY ruleset means you have your own ruleset in which you can add mods in any order and any mod. You control things here. The ruleset has room for 1000 cmmos mods, plenty in my opinion. But this will serve as an example since NOW CMMOS/CMBO and CMMOS/CMBB will work the same. I have also started on revamping CMMOS/CMBO. There are new rulesets, even a DIY ruleset for CMBO. But, keep one thing in mind that the tutorial for right now if really for CMBB ONLY. That will change very shortly and you can start making your own mods. There are some - well let's say not so bright guys out there and they should be allowed to have CMMOS too. CMMOs is not just for smart guys you know. Course the only reason I don't already have it is because - well, I uh, uh, haven't had time, yeah, I haven't had time. That's it. And thanks again MikeT for your efforts and work.
