As for making your own scenario mods, it's pretty easy. The User Manual has good instructions for the Campaign Editor. You may want to check out my earlier Campaign mods for 1939 and 1940 which provide a decent log of changes I made and why. Some things work well and some don't. I tried a few different things with my latest 1941 winter counter-offensive scenario available at Games Depot. Most of what I've done has been to consolidate a lot of good ideas from many others and make them work. And of course others have developed different mods which are also worth checking out.
