I'm running Windows ME fyi.If you are running a refresh rate fix program (such as refreshlock), disable it whilst you run SC - that worked for me in WinXP. 00Dawg Posted August 19, 2002 Author Share Posted August 19, 2002 I have fiddled with the refresh rate, to no avail. Is there a specific setting SC will work with? Before this problem started, the program would completely freeze up the first time I ran it, and run fine every time after that until the next time I restarted the computer. This problem is actually more annoying. I have never installed a refresh program, so unless it came with ME, I don't believe I have one installed. Old Patch Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 The lock-up problem on initial opening of the program is a sound issue. Open up the SC.ini file and change the "sound interrupt = 0" line from 0 to 1. Worked for me. Twice. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
