windstarz Posted October 24, 2001 Share Posted October 24, 2001 I did a search and found nothing. I have been playing on a cable modem with two computers side by side. Have had some problems getting and staying connected but was able to play quite a few games. Now every time we get started we lose connection. Can CM be played using a lan? Pud Posted October 25, 2001 Share Posted October 25, 2001 Certainly can, as Iron Chief says, get a network card for each machine and a crossover cable or fork out for a hub. I have played it over a hub-lan and with just the crossover. Works as well as the connection between the machines, have a reliable connection, the game will be reliable.
