Guest Ace
I "did a search" on switching from TCP/IP to PBEM mid-battle and found that there were some problems (possibly losing a turn). Has this been fixed, or should we just use the workaround that MadMatt suggested? I couldn't find any more threads indicating it had been fixed, so I thought I would ask. I'd post the link to the original thread, but I'm not sure how to do it.
Guest Ace
Here's the link which contains Madmatt's workaround - no other posts regarding fixes, though. http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/Forum1/HTML/013790.html I had try to send the post to a friend and then view the message in order to get the URL. Is there an easier way to do it than this?
Blackhorse
That was fixed in an earlier patch. Transitioning from TCP/IP to PBEM and back to TCP/IP again is now seamless.
Guest Ace
Thanks Blackhorse. I was hoping it was fixed. The fix wasn't mentioned in either the appended v1.12 patch or the internet play reandme files, so I wasn't aware of the change. BTW, are you aware that Blackhorse is a popular local brand of beer in Newfoundland? Just another piece of useless trivia for you.
