Guest kking199 Posted January 9, 2001 Share Posted January 9, 2001 The AI in CM is fantastic but I have too comments to it's behavior. When an Inf squad is at the crest of hill, so the enemy is in front of them and they are behind hill, they do not seem to do a good job of using the "hill" as cover....this does not always happen but it happens enough, is this simply an issue of unit placement?? One of my favorite tactics as Allies is grouping my 60mm mortars that come with an Inf Comp and using the Hvy Wpns HQ to spot for them. One of my favorite targets is open top vehicles. I have "never" seen a open top vehicle try to escape from a mortar attack of this type... would it not seen "normal" if you were driving one of these that you would at least try and manuever out of barrage?!?!
