Bad news: It's all wheeled vehicles or nothing. The tire tread bmp is shared for all the wheeled vehicles, on both sides. It won't apply for the front wheels on halftracks, though. Doing this reminds me of high school, when I had to put the chains on the school bus every day it was icy.
