Wanderer Posted September 21, 2000 Share Posted September 21, 2000 I have tried the tech forum and got no response, so this is my last chance. I can't get CM to install on my iMac. It starts to install but after a few seconds it comes up with this message: "Problems were encountersd installing onto the disk "Macintosh HD" Please quit the installer, restart your Macintosh, and try again" I have tried all three install options and none work. The demo worked perfectly so I have no clue what is going wrong. I would greatly appreciate any help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jdl Posted September 21, 2000 Share Posted September 21, 2000 Mine came with a smudge on my cd and it wouldnt install. I tried 3 or four times.I was upset untill I checked it and wiped it off. I would also try cleaning my cd drive. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
