Kije Posted May 11, 2000 Share Posted May 11, 2000 Some have speculated that the problem of low resolution display in the Gold Demo with Macintosh Voodoo cards may be restricted to Voodoo 1 or 2 only. I'd like to offer a data point to the contrary. Voodoo 3 3000 card here and the Gold Demo runs in low resolution (640 X 480?). The Beta Demo ran fine in high res, so this low res display is a surprise. Macintosh 8500 with G3 350Mhz upgrade and Voodoo 3 3000. -- Lt. Kije Hoping for a fix so I can place an order. Right now CM automatically switches to 640x480 when it detects Voodoo, in order to preserve compatibility with Voodoo1.
