FFE
I remember seeing the hotkey layout in one of the Old AAR's. One of the hotkey options was, Switch Sides. Obvious this hotkey is suppose to be used for testing. My question is this: Can the beta testers switch sides during a PBEM game with their Beta Version of the game? Sten
No, we can't. Even if that feature was still in any of the latest beta versions we'd still need your password. Guest Madmatt
Switch sides is a Hot key that is for use in the EDITOR ONLY. That function is still in the game. We never have nor never will be able switch sides once the game is in play. This key is used while building a scenario to quickly zoom from one side of the map to the other. Nothing more, nothing less... Madmatt ------------------ If it's in Combat Mission, it's on Combat Mission HQ! FFE
Re: Sten -- Thanks! Re: Mad Perhaps now, but the screen shot shows a game in progress (turn 4 or 5) with lettering to the effect of / DEBUG ONLY: Switch sides (something to this effect), HOTKEY panel displayed. I remember seeing this about 1 year ago in a screen shot, but didn't ask about it back then because I was more-or-less a pure lurker. However, there WAS the option for (Beta? - Alpha? - Battlefront?) to switch sides IN GAME during a scenario.
