pritzl
Will Combat Mission have a patch to support OpenGL? It looks to me like a most, if not all, future video cards available for the Mac will no longer have Rave support. Thanks, Michael
pritzl
Could somebody from BTS please answer this question? I posted a similar question about a month ago which was never answered either. Even a simple "we don't know yet" would at least make me feel like i'm not being ignored. Thanks
Guest Thomas William Davie
Pritzl; I did a search on Open GL, and as of May/99 it apparently was not being explicitly supported. Rave on the Mac and Direct 3d on the PC. Tom ------------------ email address: thodavie@videon.wave.ca
Guest Big Time Software
Michael, Don't worry. We'll be sure to update CM as required to keep pace with developments of Apple system software. Right now RAVE still works on all PPC Macs and OpenGL does not have the wide support on older Mac hardware that RAVE does. Charles
Guest GriffinCheng
BTS, I wish your OpenGL support would forge DirectX check and so we can play CM on WinNT. I alwasy dream about playing on NT platform in office.
risc
GriffinCheng, you can currently play CM alpha demo (or is it beta ?) on NT 4, though in software mode only. I have Win2000 with NVidia drivers wich support directx and it works great in D3D. Peter
Guest GriffinCheng
Oh, I am using old NT4 only and when I tried to start CM, it dumps out with an error claiming I need DX6 or above....no show....
