30 years and now this!

You've still got a copy of 1914? Amazing. That was my first game. I couldn't make heads nor tails of it so I took it back and got Blitzkrieg. Fortress Europa was one my favorites as well. I also really liked Panzer Leader. I found a copy of Stalingrad a couple of months ago at a garage sale but most of the pieces were gone so I didn't bother.

Some of the game companies did too. I have at least one game that came with counters with rounded corners. Downside was that it wasted a lot of cardboard between the counters. Forget the name of the game or the company. It was one of the innumerable East Front games that came out in the mid- to late-'70s. Had some neat play innovations too. Must still be around here somewhere...
