SeaRich Posted November 6, 2000 Share Posted November 6, 2000 Does anybody know what the difference between ADJ and FFE is? Why can you only fire smoke in FFE mode? Basically, the battery shoots one round till the observer gets it onto the target, then the Fire For Effect, which showers the target with rounds Smoke is adjusted with HE, then you switch to Smoke for the FFE I usually don't adjust, prefering to hit the target with FFE on the first round hoping to get killing effects right away.
