dglad Posted September 28, 2000 Share Posted September 28, 2000 Okay, maybe I'm just being dense...but I've used the MapTool to create a map (e.g. a "bmp" file with corresponding "dat" file) of a local trg area, that I'd like to use to assist in training our young officers. The question is, how the heck do you use this new map in TacOps? How is it "loaded"? Am I missing something? I downloaded the v3.0 demo, assuming that I needed at least v3 to use this map...or do I need to purchase the full version? Guest MajorH Posted September 28, 2000 Share Posted September 28, 2000 The demo version can't use Type2 maps. You need to order the retail version. After that you can load a Type2 map via one of the custom scenario templates - Custom Scenario US Army.sce, Custom Scenario USMC.sce, or Custom Scenario CA CMBG.sce.
