How much more deadly is the 76mm gun than the normal 75mm gun on a Sherman? I only ask cos it does not seem like a huge step up. The 76mm is much better at AT work. The 75mm has a great HE shell but the 76mm has a much faster velocity and can use tungsten rounds. ------------------ And if we abandon any platform, I can assure you it will not be the Macintosh. -Steve My website!
