PBEM file placements

Recommended Posts

?????When I receive a PBEM file of an opponents move or placement, do I transfer that file to my CM file, and if I do is it set up to automatically read that file when i return to the game???? When i tried this I found that my previous settup was no longer recorded.

You can leave the pbem file anywhere; personally I recommend creating a separate folder for every pbem game you have going and dropping all the files in there. I also suggest you rename the file to something more meaningful (e.g. "AxisOrders1.txt").

Once you've got it situated, at the CM main screen click "Load PBEM" or whatever the command is and select the file you just received. When you are done, CM will create a new PBEM file (or overwrite a previous one) in the CM directory for you to send back to your opponent.
