Split Squads?

Quick question ... but first the customary "Use the Search Engine...becuase I'm cranky."

I know how to split squads. However, how can I recombine them?

I ask because:

1) I changed my mind during set up;

2) The set up had split squads, and I wanted to recombine; and

3) Sometimes, I want to combine the half-squads into a full squads for obvious tactical reasons.

Just place them close together. They will recombine during the next orders phase.

I think the 'recombine' range was reduced in 1.1b24. It is now something like 10 metres instead of 20.

I couldn't find it in "TFM."

You mean:

1) they just happen to recombine by themselves?

2) What about during the setup phase?

PS: Don't it just make your heart stop when your recce tanks bog down during a sneaky flank move?

Oops, forgot to mention – as far as I know, you can't recombine squads during setup. If you split a squad, they'll stay split until the end of the first turn. Unless I'm wrong, this should probably be tweaked by BTS.

I heard the "immobilisation" sound during the turn, and when I watched it through again, I saw my tank bog down, and I got a fright when I thought that it had been immobilised later on. Thankfully it was only your Wolverine. =D
