Thomas Davie
Correct me if I'm wrong. But after managing to smoke a Tiger, one of the Germans vehicles was reported as a Tiger? So I made the assumption that you've already coded in possible misinterpretations about vehicles. Tom
Guest Big Time Software
Correct. Vehicles are assigned to general categories within the code. If the spotting system decides you screwed up it will pick something from the alternate list and present it to you as "fact" As you get better intel on the unit the error will be cleared up. This has been around for a long time, including the Fionn/Martin AAR game. Fionn thought the Jumbo was a standard M4 A bug prevented that info from being updated when he got up close though. Fionn
Plus US troops |LOVE reporting that whole hosts of Tigers are advancing on your position. Tell me though Thomas, didn't you breathe a HUGE sigh of relief when you found out that second Tiger was just a Stug III ? ------------------ ___________ Fionn Kelly Manager of Historical Research, The Gamers Net - Gaming for Gamers
Thomas Davie
Well no actually because I already knew it wasn't a Tiger. I just figured that the possible sighting of a Tiger meant that they had put false sightings in. Mind you, when playing a random game or one for the first time yes, I would be soiling myself Tom
