Soma
Hi there ! As a new kid on the block of this great game I'd like to know, what the different yells, shouts, cries and sayings of the soldiers on the battlefield mean. Ok, a simple "MEDIC" cry is clear (even for me) But is there a short description of these different speech samples and their meanings or something like that ? Is there a meaning at all ? What is the meaning of live ? A very curious Soma
Guest Big Time Software
Yes, each voice does have meaning. Generally the best thing to do is look at the unit (or likely unit if you can't tell) and see what it is doing. When you think about it in the context of the game most should be obvious. Like: Move Out! -> A unit is starting a move path Let's get the Hell out of here!! -> Panic For those that don't speak German (or English ) you will find that you can recognize the type of action based on the way it is spoken. There will be lots more variety of voices in the final version too. Steve
Soma
Thank you for the answer, and BTW: This is the best game ever ! I've played and still play a lot of WWII games (all from Talonsoft, all fom SSI and of course, all of your games), but this is the game, we all have waited for !! A big "Thank you guys" from me, and some very bad words from my girlfriend, because she's seeing me seldom since the demo is out Soma
