Oddball_E8
Well the "problem" here is that vehicles in CMx2 cannot tip over. And whilst i think that the tank should not be able to move there at all, that would have stopped it from moving across it too, which would not be realistic either...
Childress
This behavior is, it seems, an artifact of the new ditch lock terrain feature. At first I thought any wheeled movement should be prohibited when travelling along the slope. But that would open up, as Oddball pointed out, another can of worms. It recalls the theoretical ability of a Formula 1 car to drive upside down through a wind tunnel due to the incredible downforce it generates at speed.
Oddball_E8
Oh yes, it is definately an artifact of the new ditch lock terrain feature since you cannot move vehicles on near verticle slopes in the game otherwise, but the ditch lock makes a very small height difference into a near vertical one and the game just doesn't see that vehicles shouldn't be able to drive along that vertical "wall". But I can live with it (it'll look even wierder when a tank or vehicle gets knocked out whilst driving on one of those vertical walls)
