[What killed my recon squad ?]

Thank you for your answer, i didn't thought at mortar because of the precision of the hits, all on the the same spot just on my squad. I will reload an older save, i had lot of expectations for this recon squad, a part of my plan lied on them.  That said are they so much better than a regular leading squad for recon and artillery calling ?

By the way have you some advices to give about how i deployed my troops ? However i'm not sure the view is good enough to judge effectively.

Hi, as i don't have a lot of games on Combat Mission, i can't be sure to know what happened to my recon squad, i think mines killed them, but 2 others squad took almost the same path, so i don't know exactly what happened to them.

Thank you for all your answers ! I should have continue my game instead of stoping it  ah ah. Indeed 30 seconds after the restart they deployed the Maxim, this machine gun position was important to supress a German position so i was a bit afraid to start the next turn.

Hi, i checked the 2 manuals and made few researchs on Google, but i found nothing about how to deploy a Maxim M1910. There is no "Deploy" button, and the crew don't seem to track any machine gun, i'm playing the Assault scenario, i've 2 Maxim squad, but i've no clue about how to deploy them.
