Well my point was that sometimes tanks will not decide to shoot at targets that are very far away. I think it maybe depends on whether they believe they have a good chance of knocking out the enemy at that range. But in that case, you can still manually order them to fire.
I had that situation happen to me in a recent game, with several 75mm Churchills not firing against a Stug at about 1500 metres, even though they clearly spotted it.
When I manually ordered them to fire, they eventually managed to knock it out.
Thank you, this should be what happens to me.

The tanks see the spotted enemies but they don't fire and I have to select each tank and then push the button "target" to let them fire. I'm new of the game, not sure if I'm doing right.

Hello everyone.
The problem is that my tanks don't fire even if I spot the enemies. I have to let them fire manually, which works, but it seems to me a bit strange. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks you all.
Stoumont, not enough time

Seems to me that to take Stoumont needs a rush. American forces are everywhere, with tanks and anti-tank guns. But even if you rush, you'll have a lot of casualties, and you'll probably not earn a victory. And, first of all, rush was not a good idea in world war II, neither in this game. I don't think it's balanced, and I'm talking of a non turn based battle. Anyone has a good strategy to clear all to area?
