yes this would be great but i dont think we will see this during the next time. I was talking to bill and he told me his free time is to short to do more mods in the near future.
If we want this mods there is only 1 way, we must create this mods ourselfs.
Strategic command has a good battleeditor.
For the waiting time there is a great freewaregame " Field of Strategie "

or People General. For Peoples General i did a few mods during the last years.
Actually i"m working on the wars of Frederick the great.

please let me say 1 thing. Creating this campaign and give it to people shows clear for me :
You do this job not only for making money but because your heart belongs to videogaming. And you like it to bring fun to people.
I think thats the reason why battlefront games are so much better than Slitherines.

Hi Bob, a 7 years war global campaign you can find in the free game
"Field of strategie ". If you dont find it in the net drop me a message
i"ll give you the Link.
I had in mind to create scenarios for SC but the less free time i have i need
for my People General Projects.
If you want a 7 years war game for SC i think its possible but you have to
create it.
You have to learn how to create a scenario and you have to find a person
which creates units and buildings. Much work but not impossible.
But there is also a easyer way.
There is a game, roundbased, calling Medival 2.
Modders created a 7 years mod but they didnt creat scenarios for it.
Everything is ready in this game, you could imedately start creating scenarios.

From my view the 1870 Franco-Prussian War scenario is a great initiative.
The wars between 1800 and 1900 one of my passion and it would be great to see more like this. But i understand, every round based game which is not ww2 or ww1 is hard to sell.
Just a thougth , i would be willing to pay for such games and maybe also
more people. Maybe its possible to to find enough interested people for a project which pay a part of the price of the game before released.
As i said , only a idea.
The war between danmark and prussia and the 6 weeks war between
prussia and austria would fit good to the 1870 Franco-Prussian War.

Hi xenon 141, thank you for trying my zulumod. In the future i have in mind to create more scenarios for this mod.
What i have in mind to create for Strategic command is the french invasion in Mexico in
the middle of the 19. age. But problem is the less free time, so this is not a promise.
Maybe you can help me by tips if i should decide to do it.
Would it be possible for you to modify me the neccesary units ?
The units for zuluwar are made by a friend who does not work anymore for peg.

Thank you my friend for this great mod. I"m almost sure there is no other roundbased game about this conflict.
Great we have people like you. Gamecompanys created so many ww2 , ww1,
napoleon and acw games in the past. But no one has a heart for the smaller
conflicts which also interesting. By the way i also create mods , but for a older game "PEOPLES gENERAL ". Just finished a Zuluwar mod.
What woul be great to see for this game is a mod about the French invasion
in Mexico, only a idea.

Hi,
i discovered in options that it is possible to switch off diplom. and research
for a campaign. But when a campaign is originally created by this options
does this have a negative impact on the game when this is deactivatrd ?

It's funny that you mention the Franco-Prussian war because some months ago I started work on a Franco-Prussian campaign.
It's not yet ready, as getting Breakthrough ready for release ate up my time, but it's possible that I might be able to find some time in a few weeks to continue working on it.
This isn't planned as an official release, and if you have the time and fancy creating a Franco-Prussian mod you're more than welcome. I'd be happy to make my initial work available.

I cant belive this ! Is this really true ? Sometimes a blind man like me hits the mark.I feel like holiday and christmas at the same Time.
The problem is this Project was planned for later because i work at the moment on 23 Maps for the american war of independence and afterwards
i wanted to create a Falklandwarmod for People General.
But i"m absoulute interested on your mode. Maybe i can give a little free time
now for this project and when the maps and Falkland is finished i would not
start a new project for People General andyou could have al my free time for this project. I will mail you.

The key for the germans to win was the Artillery !
Frenches made the misstake to improve the range of the guns (1000m instead
200 the Germans had.) BUT THEY FORGOT THE ARTY.
In the deceisive Battles of this war almost 80 % of the wounded french soldiers had
splinterwounds.
So the german Arty in the game must be much more powerful than the french.
