Thanks Hubert. This is my first SC2 game. I really like it! I elected not to try this game a long time ago due to the tiles (not hexes). I regret that now, but I still prefer hexes. But I can see why you needed tiles for it too work. Anyway looking forward to SC3 with hexes

A new 'Pause' option is now available during E-Mail game replays.
How does someone do this?

How do I move the whole thread?

Not having much luck. I updated my Adapter driver and Display driver. Turned off CMAA and still no improvement.
It's late now so I will look at your links tomorrow. Thanks very much for your help sir.

Ok I fixed up my laptop with your suggestion. It has Nvidia Graphics.
But my new desktop PC is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. It says I have a Intel HD Graphics 4600 Adapter. I went in to the control panel for this device and I can't find any such FXAA setting? I saw a setting for 'Clear Text'. Not sure what that is. Any help would be welcomed.

Thanks, I will look at that tonight when I get home.

I am new to CMBfN. Great game but why is the in game text so hard to read? It seems to blur or become blocky.
I play a lot of PC games and have not encountered this before.
Are my monitor settings wrong? Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for the links to FGM and BOB. I will join one or the other.
Any pro's con's for either?

I will join your group if you start it. IMO the blitz has aspects I would rather avoid.

I haven't had a CD install for years now. So no CD's. All are DD. I am semi PC literate so I can usually get thru these issues. But I know at least 2 friends who bought CMBfN and never got to play it as they could not get it to run as the AV stopped it dead. And support was not very helpful.
I agree they should probably become more knowledgeable about their PC's but I am still curious as too what makes CMBfN so prone to these problems.

Just curious, but I have many PC games I play. Yet CMBN is the only one I have had trouble with in regards to my AV getting angry with.
What is it about CMBN that is different to all the other games I have played?

Thanks for the tips on the AV

Never mind thru some digging around I found out the info I needed. I am just going to buy the latest Mega Bundle V3 for $105.

Hi All
I am hoping some kind soul might be able to help me out. I bought the CMBN Commonwealth Bundle at release must be at least 2 years ago now. Played Version 1.10. I really liked the game but put it down for a while to try other stuff as my old PC wasn't quite up to speed.
I now have a new PC. So I am very keen to get this game going and try some PBEM.
I have a couple of issues. When I try to install the game on my new PC my anti virus software is finding a virus in the exe file and refuses me access to it. Has anyone else has this happen?
If I get past this first problem how do I update the game to the latest version without buying new content? Is that even possible?
I see references to version 2.0 and 3.0. Do I need to pay to get those versions?
I saw a help page with a list of actions to take but man it was confusing. I want the latest version, even if I have to pay for it. So that would be version 3 point something right?
Can anyone offer guidence here. I tried to create a ticket but I could not get past the 'are you human' test. Apparently 13+4 is not 17???

Yes there is wire.
Thanks, we will just choose a different scenario for now.

Hi all
My buddy and I are new to CM BfN. We played the Demo scenarios and each of us has just bought the CM BfN Cw bundle. We decided to play a pbem of the Le Desert scenario. But after the Germans end their setup/first move the game hangs and crashes.
I have tried it 3 times now with the same result. Can anyone help?
Cheers
Michael

I am new to this game as well. But it seems that if units were to retreat more often nothing would ever be eliminated.
