Quick question, when I select infantry units, they have a large green circle beneath them. Anybody know what that is?

I have a few tips.
The best strategy to for tank warfare, is splitting your enemies' targets. If you have two tanks, and your enemy has one, split your two tanks far apart. The enemy can only target one tank at a time.
A good strategy for playing with American tanks, get close, and flank 'em. Keep enemy Panzers from moving too far out, as they have better guns.

It's amazing, JubJub. Hopefully they fix it so you can enjoy it!

Aww, I was hoping that it would contain new gameplay stuff. But that's alright, I'm sure all you iPhone folks are happy!
-
That is for sure, especially on iOS. However there are some good ones!!! But they are few and far between.
-
How the....? Anyway, that's pretty neat! I don't have an iPhone, but that's cool nonetheless!

Ah, lupin got to it before I could. I'm really curious about what's in the next update.

The handicapping doesn't affect combat (barbarians are the exception where the barbarian bonus that the human receives varies depending on difficulty level). At Noble difficulty everything is the same for player and AI. As you move up levels it becomes cheaper for the AI to build units and buildings, they also start with better units (I think at monarch and above they start with an archer instead of a warrier for example). The reverse happens at levels lower than noble.
What? What the heck are you talking about?

Hmm, strange. I have no problem with sound. I am running it on my iPad 2. Perhaps in the 1.2 update they will address that.
-
Dumb answer, buti might as well try.
First, did you turn up your volume?
Second, on a brand new iPad, the small slider button on the right, which is just below your volume buttons, controls mute/unmute. If the button is down, it's muted, if it is up, the sound is on. You can change this from mute, to lock rotation in settings

Currently, there is not a way to cancel a selection. You have to give the order, then you have one of two options,
1. Tap Stop. This will delete ALL orders this unit has been given
2. Tap on another order, and tap somewhere, then tap BACK and BACK again. This is good if you have previous orders you want the unit to fulfill, but change what they do after said orders

Just today, my tank got picked off travelling at fast speed while hiding behind a grove of trees. Again the AT gun at about 300 meters, unreal!
The German AT gun in the game appears to be the 7.5 cm Pak 97/38. This gun had low effective range of 500 meters.

Plus, the best thing to do, especially with Sherman Tanks, is To close in fast and hard on Panzers/AT guns via means of flanking. Usually two on one is best. One tank can draw fire, while the other gets a close and hard shot at the tanks side/rear armour.

As a Canadian, I must agree, we need Canadian forces there

Yea, I've had the same problem. I've noticed that the AI gets a boost. Usually with extra tanks or in the case of Uncle Red Beach, AT Guns. My current solution, especially on Uncle Red Beach, is to take the role of the Germans. When the tank rolls around, I knock 'em out with Artillery. I'm not enjoying the fact that the AI gets a boost either. But I'm still loving the game

Holy crap o.O

Anybody know the effective range of any vehicles? It's bothering me not knowing how close/far a certain tank, or infantry unit has to be in order to cause decent damage. Specifically, Panzerfausts. Anybody know the range on those suckers?

Give us a scenario editor ? So we can make more maps?..
And have the ability to share those scenarios publicly! I'm a noob at editing, but I would love to play other players scenarios!
-
Another thing, I would love to see where a vehicle is hit, like in CMBN.

Thanks guys! Just wanted to understand it a bit better.

I was playing Morning of the 902nd, and during an artillery strike, I that an american tank had flashed "Broken!" beside it. This happened two other times when my Panzers were overrunning thier positions. I'm just wondering what "Broken!" means. Sometimes, they moved again, and the one, just sat there and never moved or fired again. I just assume that what is broken is random?
Ok, what my real question is, is when a vehicle (or infantry) is broken, what's happening? Can it be fixed?

Just want to say I enjoy the new update! Combat Mission touch is now much more playable, and I will now rate it 5 stars. Good to know battlefront is listening!
-
Yea, see ive been the Germans multiple times and I have not yet seen the AT GUN
-
Hey quick question about Uncle Red Beach. I've played as the Germans a couple times, and then when I played as the americans, the Germans have an extra unit, an anti-tank unit. Anybody know what this is about?

During the orders phase, when you tap on the camera, it will then ask you to tap somewhere.when you tap somewhere, the camera is instantly moved to that spot
My nephew just got it and is digging into it
