    What a way to return from a 4 day weekend... CMFI Tin box waiting on the counter at home. That should go just fine with my new desk lamp, a commemorative Armistice Day 75mm shell turned into a lamp base. Just the thing for a wargamer geek.

    Also got my Ammo Case....:P

    Only problem is now I need a Hard Copy of Normandy.

    A plain ole recordable DVD just don't look right.

    Herr_Oberst used to have a Live A-10 30mm Gau-8 Round...:eek:

    Someone ripped it off in one of my many moves..hope whoever stole

    it is still in one Piece...;)

    Operational game to go with CMFI?

    This is good stuff been thinking along the same lines.

    Have an L2DesignGroup "Streets of Stalingrad"...:P

    Best remake of a classic ever, and the best boardgame

    map ever IMO. Due to its scale coming up with an operational

    level interaction with CM would awesome. Also have the ADC

    Module so have the Map in .bmp...:)

    New to the Scenario Building so will have lots of questions.

    One is how well do ASL/Tobruk Scenarios convert to CM..?

    Also in going through some boxes looking for Reference

    type materials I found something that I'm sure someone

    here will really Like.

    An Unpunched Virgin Copy of the Original Nova Games

    "Battle for the Factories" circa 1982

    The map and counters aren't as pretty as the L2 version,

    but is in Mint condition. Except the Box its taken some hits

    over the years..

    Want to make a few bucks..storage fees and all...:D

    Not sure how to proceed, maybe auction it off but I

    don't want it to go overboard. Any thoughts...??

    There's no need to argue about the weather in Germany. Guess why the Germans are world champions in travelling?

    Mallorca would have been the 17th state a long time ago if not for the Brits (these seem always to be in the way) who got it even worse (weather wise).

    I also lived in Germany for 2 years with the USAF. Did you also notice that the Germans do not throw garbage and cigerette butts alongside the roadways? That they do not have vacant and abandoned buildings/slums in all their inner cities like we do in America?

    The kind of self rightious IGNORANCE of your post is the reason people hate Americans.

    I would take the clean, rich culture and rolling hills of the Rhinlandphalz region anyday, over a sweltering aligator infested swamp, Hurricane magnet state.

    We are an International community here. So you might not want to spout things off like your above post in the future.

    Didn't mean to start a feud or make an Enemy. Was a joking comment

    about the Weather and that only. I respect the German Peoples and their

    Country. It is a wonderful place when the sun is out lots of good times had there. So you can take your IGNORANCE and stickit were the SUN dont shine.

    So hopefully you might think abit before slamming someone next time.

    Maybe you want to here about Asia next..was there also..its a Toxic Waste Dump...guess that will be questioned also..??

    He might be a slow packer!

    Lived in Germany for 3.5 years with the USAF.

    There is a Reason the Germans have started

    so many Wars in an attempt to get the Hell

    out of there. Sun goes down in September

    not be seen for 6 months. Cant imagine how

    much fun it is in Russia.....

    Was hinting at a possible winter release was all..

    Map Scanning Tool

    Anybody know how the new Map Scanning function works..??

    Don't see any readme's on the subject...any links or such out

    there to give this a try? I assume since most of us have home

    type printer/scanners that joining map sections and the like is

    dealt with.

    The book is titled "Omaha Beachhead" lots of pics i've not

    seen before and an Army account on the first few days.

    Unfortunatly the 18 extra map pack can't be viewed from

    the PDF file. The scale varies but those alone are worth

    spending money for the book. Not sure how much it will

    help your effort if at all. All info is good if its new in my book.

    Thinking about getting a head start on some bulge maps..;)
