    German Tanks

    Hi,

    I was playing a *Ludendorff Offensive* campaign and i noticed that Germany get level 2 tanks, while the british only get level 1. If i recall correctly from what i read over the years, the German Army did not believe in the use of tanks. Also, Germany's effort to make decent and usefull tanks was a pathetic fail, only a few we're ever used and proved to be unreliable. So my point is that i don't think its normal or fair that a German tank of 1918 would be superior to a Mark IV-V.

    Also, while we are playing this game, as much fun as we get, we shall not forget about the brave men and women who lost their lives during this bloody and tragic conflict.

    I was also thinking we could maybe share about people we know or we knew in our family who fought during World war one. Personally, one of my Grand uncle was a lieutenant in the Canadian army during the first world war. I remember, that my grand aunt had a picture of him on his horse and it always fascinated me to see him with his sword and soldiers behind him.

    So anyway, sorry if my English is not perfect, it's not my first language.

    This post was a just a thought i had for those great people who died for all of us.

    And on another question: What exactly is the gain of giving Itally the Austrian territories?

    I have never done it before but I am considering how useful it would be. Would it cause itally to stay out of the war for good or does it just prospone their entry?

    If you choose to cede the territories Italy is demanding, it will keep her out of the war for good. The downside is that the NM of Austria-Hungary will drop like there is no tomorrow ( I don't know the exact percentage, but it's really bad. ). Personally, I do not think it's worth it to sacrifice that precious NM to prevent Italy from entering the war. You will need every bit of NM to fight Russia, Serbia/Montenegro/Albania, Romania and Greece, but that's just my humble opinion.

    As for the Greek diplomacy entry thingy, I guess she should join with all her forces if you were to mobilize her trough diplomacy, but like the previous posters said, it does not worth it to spend all those MPPs on Greece. The few gains you could make would be a couple of tiles in southern Serbia ( If your lucky, because with that mountain terrain, 2 detachments and a corp could hold the Greek army without a problem ) or in the European part of the Ottoman Empire/Bulgaria ( Just like Serbia, Heavy mountain terrain, perfect for defense + narrow path/road makes it almost impossible to achieve any real gains ).

    Patch 1.04

    Edit: Ive fixed my problem by reinstalling the game and the patch. This thread is useless now.

    Hi,

    I downloaded the patch, installed it. Everything was going just fine until i opened my SC WWI. It says " Unable to load library " :confused:. When i opened my SC WWI again, it says that i only have the 1.03.1 patch even tho i installed the 1.04. Can anyone help me fix this issue? It would be really helpful.
