[cant find saved saved games]

after having played Beyond Normandy for awhile I finally uprgraded to Beyond Barb. Its awsome but I've tried to save a couple times now and when I return to the game i can't find the saved games anywhere. Ive noticed there is a desktop folder for saved games but when i open it its empty. Has anyone else had this problem?
