he does not profit from a side entrenchment against your counterattacks.
Good point, this probably most useful at the France frontline..
-
Is there any disadvantage to using 2 sides entrenchment instead of 1?
If not, we should just always entrench 2 sides I guess.. never need the 1 side option..

I have 30" 2560x1600 but I find the icons and buttons far too small.
They don't seem to scale automatically withyour res they are fixed pixels I think.
Do I had to downgrade the res to 1920x1080 to make it easier to control.

A cool scenario would be D-Day with the Normandy coast being the entire map with turns representing maybe a couple of hours. Any modders out there up to it?
Combat mission battle for Normandy has a user made map that tries to simulate this, check that forum also on battlefront.com. Sorry don't have a link I'm on iPhone.

What happens if we don't cease fire when the time runs out?
Is the final score downgraded?

"The Myriad Faces of War" by Trevor Wilson is a favourite of mine. Deals with the war solely from the British standpoint, but it is very well put together. Not a short read though! Having bought and read the book many years earlier I was gobsmacked to find that his niece turned up in my history class, even though he writes out of Adelaide in Australia and I am in the UK.
It's a small world indeed...
Yes it is! All of us Aussies go through the UK for a while. I spent 5 years there and I ran into my Auntie coming out of a travel agent purely by chance, didn't even know she was on holidays

I mostly read about the aviation:
-Winged Victory by V.M Yeates: It's about a camel squadron similar to the author's own experiences.. although the cover has an SE5a!
-Goshawk Squadron by Derek Robinson: Dark humour and grim tales of an SE5a Squadron
-Fire in the Sky by Michael Molkentin: The Australian Flying Corps contribution VERY good book for Aussies

Thanks for your answers Marco I'm using it now, looking good!

Will it be better than the original campaigns?
I know I know silly question But I only just bought the game yesterday, and will start playing next week. I'm wondering if I should play the original campaigns or play this new one (assuming it's out by then).

Sounds good. Although just as in real life some countries should be very difficult or impossible to sway.
But Holland, Norway, Sweden shouldn't be so expensive to sway.
