Could be me, is there a reason there are no missions available to download here? Maybe a way to organize them by type? Graphics, sounds, missions, etc?
Maybe some all in one packs by a certain author?

Hey guys,
I run this game with a nice triple monitor setup. Its really nice seeing the entire battlefield like that.
One thing I've noticed is that the soldier status (spotting, cowering, etc.) is on the far left, so I have to look way over to see what my troops are doing. Is there a way, ini file or something, that I could move this to the center, over the control panel / hud?

If your talking about the mission I think you are, T-34-85's are sufficient enough to defeat both Tigers, especially at the ranges on that map.
I must be engaging way too quickly or closly. Some flack guns took out two of them and a hidden tank gun the 3rd..
if you are thinking of the same one.

So I get 4 t34's and they get smoked in the course of the battle. A couple tigers show up. What the hell do you do? Plink away with the AT guns? These poor guys. You cant even really sneak anyone up to them.
Do you keep your tanks way back most of the time?

thanks for this

All I want to be able to do is tell if my units are under certain types of cover. Am I missing something? Say I want to sneak a scout to the edge of the forrest, how do I do that right now, without any kind of terrain information at the cursor?

please send me an invite when you get a chance, thanks!

I'm having a lot of fun too. Thanks!

You might want to do a search for "Command Lines" this is an issue that has been raised once or twice in the last few weeks.
cool, thanks!

Maybe the 3 other guys are attached to another command unit?

Hi Guys,
I have a hard time with the c2 sometimes, and was wondering if we could mod in a UI representation of C2 by having a light colored line draw to the units the commander is supposed to communicate with. I guess you could have it be darker if better coms are available and lighter as the less and less reliable means of communications are used between units. It could be shown as a ctrl-button key mapping, so it didnt have to be on all the time, but would give the user an easy way to see who is in communication with what, instead of having to click on each command unit.
Am I missing something or would this be helpful to you guys? I apologize for the rambling, I wanted to get the idea on paper before I forgot

Infantry firing at tanks is to keep them buttoned up, which is entirely valid.

Major issue: Gun crews which abandon their guns, such as to take cover in a trench from artillary/mortar barrages, cannot remount their guns.
Lesser Issue: Also, gun crews in general seem to be excessively vulnerable to hostile fire, particularly to artillary fire. A single 1 minute mortar volley of ~6 shells usually seems to wipe out the entire entire gun crew.
This is extremely frusturating to me in scenarios where I'm relying on AT guns, especially FlaK 88's, since they can't hardly hide. Their crews are usually wiped out by hidden enemy FO's before I ever spot an enemy.
Gun crews cant rejoin is by design. They also arent set up to be shielded from artillary and the like. Field guns are meant to sit way back and fire.

You can tell what kind of enemy unit the germans are by clicking on their icon even at higher difficulty. "command" or whatever it is.

Hey Guys,
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I searched before posting and couldnt find anything. What I'd like to see is to watch the entire battle unfold after the game is over. It seems like the we-go records a minute at a time, I wonder if itd be possible to record all of the turns and play them through again. It'd be a lot of fun. I have no idea what the file size would be for such a thing but given the size of hard drives in modern computers, I couldnt see it being impossible.. what do you think?

What resolution is this game meant to be played at? the UI just gets smaller and smaller as the res goes up. I get black bars on the left and right hand side of my widescreen monitor as well. Everything seems to shrink.

I wouldnt want to work on the weekend either.
Is the curtain closing on good new EF historical writing?
