Did I say that?
Was it in the other two products?
Sorry Gibson but I discovered CM:SF only a few weeks ago after years of driving simulations so I was just asking you if this "is/was moddable" as I saw that part of the GUI has been modded in a recent post http://www.battlefront.com/community/showthread.php?t=94810
Since I'm not interested in modern warfare I just dloaded the 1.30 demo after reading for a week the wonderful Normandy DAR to start understanding the game mechanics and waiting to pre-order
Unfortunately I'm an old school ASLer and tables have been part of my "gaming life" until I switched to caster, camber, toe and PSI

Sorry I think I was off finding his response while you were attaching the pictures, so basically "no change" to what you've seen before in the other two products.
Moddable ???

That's very good news.
I think CM:BN will offer so many things to learn and explore, that time will fly anyway, until that will be implemented.
Until that happens Jeff Heidman's old XLS-files will do the trick as a workaround.
Are Jeff Heidman's files still available somewhere ???
thank you

Hi all, I'm very new to the CM world (trying the CM:SF demo 1.30 at the moment) and I did not find something similar to a penetration table for cannon/guns etc...
What will be available for the player "in game" ?
Let's say I have a PzK IV ver H with the typical 75mm L40 as main gun and LOS to the front of a Sherman M4
comparing the penetration of the 75 mm KwK 40 L/48 and the armour thickness of the M4 front turret, I know that a hit will penetrate at a maximum range of 1350-1500 meters
(info taken from www.wwiivehicles.com)
Will we have similar in game infos ???
I really don't agree with the CM:SF info panels for tanks and guns as it's really "gamey"

We have started offering print-friendly versions of the PDF manual with the CMSF British Forces module. The full version of CMSF includes a print-friendly PDF as of one of the recent patches. There will be no print-friendly manual in the demo, though.
Martin
PS. Full versions are often also available with a full printed manual, disc and case via mail delivery for only $10 more (plus shipping).
thank you
I'll order the full version once you will open preorders !

Hi all, my very first post here at BF after months of lurking.
ATM I'm learning the CM:SF interface with the 1.30 demo to be ready for the big jump into Normandy (will be my first time with a CM game, as still a "ww2 boardgame guy - ASLer"
Do you think it will be possible to have a "normal" pdf to be printable without spending 2 billion dollars of black ink ? white pages, black fonts ? the pdf coming with the SF demo is really nice, great black and green background with white fonts... really nice to read on my monitor but more expensive than the game itself to be printed out
no I'll go back to study
Roberto
PS I spent my last 5 years with driving simulations, last 3 years as an iRacing member and I really lost all the beauty of these war simulators...now I will be with you for long
Thickness and penetration data

Gibson sorry but I'm unable to use the quote
when I wrote moddable I was intending something similar to these pics (far from perfect) with modded defenses report on the vehicles panel (using SF demo 1.30) and the REZEXPLODE / Z folder tools
ciao
