Why? I spent a lot of time in Asia. It is mostly urban, conditions hot and humid. Plantations (Orchard}. Forest can be obstacles for vehicles same as Europe.

It's not the terrain, but rather the nature of the combat. The Pacific War was largely made up of static set piece battles with very little maneuvre and combined arms combat.

no actually not.  As divisive as things are here any mention of either side here is heading into US politics.  How about "Russian soldiers are about as disciplined as a herd of cats".  or sumfink

^edit That is probably unfair to cats but you get the idea.

If people are that sensitive they probably shouldn't use the internet...

I don't know. If we look at history in the winter war Soviet troops were extremely hard to dislodge when they got to some place and dug in.

The morale was extremely low for the soviets but this didn't effect the defensive performance that much.

Difference is they were on home turf in 1941 defending their motherland. The opposite is true today where the Russians are the aggressors fighting in a hostile environment.

  4. I'm really enjoying this campign so far and just finished mission 1 with at total victory for the total loss of one KIA, one wounded and one T-72B3 knocked out.

In mission 2 I have two batteries of 120mm mortars, but neither are of any use since they labled as "out of ammo". Is this because I used up all mortar and artillery ammo in mission 1?

Without the mortars this mission seems near impossible to win since I don't have the tools to dislodge the infantry an APC in the cattle farm. Any ideas?

    Best regards,

    Anders
