i am using your mod manager mr.seabee, and i tell you what, its fantastic, a great leap on from the early mod enablers i used in the old CMx1 days. thankyou!
also meach, i would like to take up your offer and try some of your good lady's scenario's would you PM me her/your email addy?
-
oh really?? i thought that would have been a popular choice, i enjoy playing as the underdog, i always have and always will, so having less effective/sophisticated equipment, and having to plan ambushes and stuff really floats my boat.

ok, thx for the info ricochet, i would prefer a campaign of red vs blue, but me playing as red.
-
got some mods installed, they look great, really add to the game.
downloaded a few scenarios too, what i would like though, is a red campaign, anyone know of one?? i couldnt find one when i looked so any help would be appreciated.

thanks mate, downloading right now

so can you guys advise me on what mods i ought to try??
there is a lot on cmmods to look through, im already becoming addicted, just like i was with CMBB when i first played that, im thinking about CM:SF all the time now......grrrr

thanks for the welcome guys, that different hotkeys is a great idea, and i am using them right now, i think im still registere over at cmmods so ill have a look there for som new scenario's.

i use a program called "get and set cpu affinity"
and indeed i had heard of the trick in black shark, i tried it and it yielded no increase in xp 64
-
yer i already played with the GFX settings, and i they made no difference either high or low, setting cpu affinity to use both cores gave me 100% increase, from 19fps to 38fps on loading a scenario
heres my system
c2d E6850 @ 3.6Ghz
4GB corsair ddr 800
Nvidia GTX260
AUDIGY 2
im running xp64

hey all, im new(ish) to these forum's, after recently buying CM:SF, i thought i would call in and say hello, i used to love reading the hints tips and discussions on here a few years ago when i played CM 1,2 and 3 a lot, and it looks like i have a lot of catching up to do, well, take care, and maybe ill see one or two of you online for a mp game??
-
hi all, pretty new here, and i dont have time to trawl through the forums to see if this has been said already, but when i started playing CM:SF patched up to latest version, i was getting poor framerates on what i consider to be a more than ample machine.
so anyway, i decided to try enabling/disabling multicore's using a little cpu affinity program, and i got better frames when i forced the game onto 2 core's, seemed it is set to run on one core.

hi guys, im new to CM:SF, but have played the old CM series for a number of years now, im looking for some MP in CM:SF, i added a few people already to my xfire, and also put in a request to join the "cult".

Hi all

i disagree there, the syrian forces are a good match for US i have found, in the scenarios i have played anyway, even some of the UNCON scenarios i have won unconditionaly, where i do agree is the fact that waiting is a major part of playing red, but thats how i like it, its tense, will your ambush come off?
whereas ive noticed blue AI pound away from a distance with armor, realistic i would say.
i would just like to say its been about a week now since i got this game, and each day im liking it more, im glad i waited till now, so i didnt have to play the earlier buggy versions.
and multiplayer is great, when a game is available, my only wish would be easier multiplayer matchup, other than that, i am very pleased.
