They use to fly alot of these things out of Chino airport along with other WWII aircraft.
Now, that the airshow is gone in Orange County....

I like the idea of org loss for troops in amphibious transports.
Seems easy to implement and make the islands worth fighting for.

Yes, I know, but as yet have not seen a hit from a city when an AA gun is in an adjacent hex. Only hits from the AA gun its self.
We should get two chances right?
One for the AA and one for the targeted hex.

umm... My Italian divisions were sent back to Corsica. Then I had to pay for more transports!

If the impact of tech is that bad on losses, then we need to mod it adjust the max. tech allowed.
That is the same combat table that AH uses with Battle of Gettysburg.

I noticed while playing several games.....
When I place my AA next to a city............ The allied aircaft will combat the AA but the city never gets a chance to shoot at the planes.
Cities will always are bombed with either a hit or miss.
I never once seen the city get a hit on an aircraft with an AA unit next to it.
This makes me think that after the encounter with the AA the AI does't use the city's opportunity fire. It never rolls the dice.
Has any one else noticed this?

I used the on line manual and did a search for DOW and couldn't find it.
Ordered the CD and Manual for the technical data.
What a newbie for over 50!
