  1. Yeah, yeah. Should have known. I updated my Paradox CMSF with the 1.21 available (not compatible) and failed. Trying to run it, I bizarrely got the same error as the other fellow - "trojan win32 Agent.decc"...

But after uninstalling and cleaning all traces with the RegEdit, I cannot upgrade to more than 1.08. As I try to install the Marines module form a CD, I'm back in square one with the supposed Trojan. I used to play without a problem with my 1.20 CMSF+Marines+British.

What to do? My spyware kit and other protection is working well, no threats found whatsoever. It seems that the 1.21 confused my system. BIG PROBLEM!! HELP!

  2. I'm playing Paradox 1.20 with the British module. Since installing that, my TF Thunder campaign crahes after the Night Stalkers mission. I've tried several ways to win, cease fire or surrender, but the next battle refuses to start. The program locks up when loading the next battle, at around 35%. The background music stops and the progress halts.

What to do? I've finished the USMC and British campaigns with 1.20, and my computer has no performance problems with the game?

  3. My CMSF Paradox 1.02 just went dead. it says:

"Please insert the original disc instead of a backup. See http://www.securom.com/no_orig_found for more details."

I tried to tweak it as they instructed in securom.com and sent them the analysis log.

What now? The game has been a disappointment by all measures (playability being the primary reason for this complaint), and now even the copy protection starts to f*** with me!

If something doesn't happen soon to improve this situation, I'm gonna make a 9mm hole to this CD-ROM!

  4. Hi,

I'm taking a lot of flak here... So:

    1. CD-ROM 1.00, patched up with 1.01, then uninstalled and now doesn't work at all.

    2. IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 CPU 2.60 GHz x86 Family 15 Model 2 Stepping 9

    3. ATI Radeon 9600 PRO Family driver 6.14.10.6462 and ATI Radeon 9600 Series secondary 6.14.10.6378

    4. Hard drive 149 Gb, free space 80 Gb, 1,50 Gb RAM

    5. Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack: 2.0

    6. Bought the CD-ROM version, worked ok but didn't ask for e-license. The framerate was awfully slow and there was some flickering with the terrain features (buildings turned red and yellow, trees changed colour depending on the angle of view), and the adjustments didn't help much. Then I "patched" up with this 1.01 version and got the already famous 92% crash no matter what I tried.

I uninstalled the whole game to be able to play with the earlier version, but the system won't let me install it anymore. I get the report "the setup files are corrupt, please obtain a new copy of the product". This happens always no matter what I do. I bet it's because of that e-licence? Couldn't find any help from other forums. Now what should I do to get back in the fields of fire?
