Well i dunno about armor of the M8 or the caliber of the PaK but maybe you can get lucky ?

Well he 20" wasnt available so i took a 22" demo runs fine, next month ill buy full

Ok just wondering if i could push wide screen resolution with ToW.

I searched forum a bit couldnt find anything related.
Im about to get myself a 20.1inch wide screen monitor.
Are there resolutions in ToW to support this ?

I tried hiding my guns a bit more so the tanks could pass the bridge before i took em out nice tank graveyard in front of the bridge
And it worked very well allthough every time you make your infantry shoot their advancing infantry they get smoked by the arti.

2nd wave i beat with the curren gun crews just disembark after every so rounds

I tried your strategy a bit and prob because of my placing it didnt work out that well.
Allthough the tank on bridge was achieved every time.
As a variaton of this i took a Pz4 and a Panther i raced them all the way back to the railway bridge.
As the bridge was blocked they came down the river side and were blown to pieces by my 2 tanks.
Big carnage there.
Arti also blew away my troops but reinforcements secured my trenches again for the big infantry assault wich were mowed down as i was able to reman my mg34 wich was artied.
Dis make an error thinking all the enemy armor would be in the rear so i rushed my reinforcement tanks up the railway only to be (in my horror) rearended by 2 tanks wich were standing in the left field somewhere.

Hold Fire...
Disembark...
At the break of battle hold fire on everything and disembark the guns.
Let the crew eat some grass behind the guns.
Now wait for those pesty germans to get close.
Once in good distance man ur guns and start blasting rounds into the panzers.
If a crew dies let some frech recruits dash in to finish the job.
Quicksave will also help you turn it into your favor.

I beat it in 7 runs.
3 runs i had the same problem.
Then i decided at the start of battle disembark the guns.
First i moved the crew to the trench but after 2 runs i realized it took casualties + time to get back.
So i just let em sit behind the guns.
(Allthough you have to keep telling em to STAY PUT!!)
Then i waited for the tanks to move in and i blew em all away.
2nd part i got more creative i let em pop a few rounds disembark and so on.

I know BAD, but they will smoke so perhaps u can make the fire so small u dont see it anymore ?

Why make it disapear let em cook in their tanks
