I was initially excited by the patch, but was sadly let down by the buggy nature of it all. So I'm now using the disk as a beer coaster/frisby. Goodbye and goodluck to all the patient people on this forum who could get this game/patch to work, but i have not the time nor the patience to continue with this theatre of crap. I'm going back to the mother of all inventions "Combat Mission"

Hopefully an expansion will include some coalition equipment?
British - Challenger 2 and Warrior IFV
Australian - Aslav's and Bushmaster
and some M113 variants from all countries.

Yeah I yell at the computer too "for F%#ks sake you stupid C%#ts where the F$#k are you going", but they dont here me and then they die.Originally posted by Krinks:So, I'm busy trying to take Al Hawl, and I have a squad in a building, and want to advance them in bounds down the back of some buildings, where they can't be seen (See the yellow line in the link).
I issue the orders and execute. Suddenly, my guys become suicidal, and decide to take a stroll down the street, with their backs to AN ENEMY TANK (See the red line in the link).
Needless to say, they wound up in bits at the bottom of a crater, and I ended up VERY unhappy. I'd have yelled at the computer, but it's 5:25am and I'd wake people up.
Things like this REALLY need to be fixed...fast...
Very Frustrating!

Yep got mine in Perth Australia nearly two weeks ago, but the Australian copies came straight from USA and the postal service is pretty dammed fast between the two countries. I've got mail quicker from the USA then I have from Sydney or Melbourne!

Was this the third training battle mine didnt want to load at all.Originally posted by huhr:This is the most frustrating part of the game for me so far, plus the game locked up during one of the training battles.
What is the best way to use the camera or what does everyone prefer to use?

Sorry I think its been three reviews.Originally posted by Gen Schmaeterling:Okay now, crazy. You've made your views clear. You don't like this game. Thank you for your time.
Some people will like the game.
For some people, the "dated" look is not important, not are any of the issues you mention. For others, such as yourself, they will be deal breakers.
Now, I think we all know how you feel. Thank you for your review, but I get it already. Meanwhile, I'd like to hear what other people have to say.
So, if you don't mind, how about keeping it down.
You could've written a novel already with how much you've been posting = )

Unfortunately you might be in a bit of a pickle here. Yes it states you can download the game prior to the April 19th release date, but this could still be read as whoever pre-ordered will get it a couple of hours earlier before the general release date on April the 19th. So as long as we receive it before the general release on April the 19th then there is no foul. </font>Originally posted by Stug Downunder:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by dez1:
Yes Moon, perhaps you should read this quote from battlefront pre-order page it speaks for it’s self “those customers that use this option will be able to download the game prior to the April 19th release date” Maybe you can let us know if the DVD will ship today, if you please.

This game has been so long in the making I think it was originally called WW2 RTS in 1999 and there was a screenshot of a anti-tank gun near a fence in someones back yard and a grey German Sdkfz 222 somewhere in Russia.

I would like to apologize on behalf of B/F, Maddmatt and Moon for the delay that B/F are experiencing in releasing the pre-order to there customers before the April 19th expected release date, as you can appreciate they are trying to resolve last minute bugs and server issues which always seem to plague companies just before release date. As a humble jesture of there appreciation for your support you can download there demo off there homepage. They are hopefully still expecting a early release for South America and the New World of the Continental United States/Canada, but for the rest of the old world can you please be patient while they attend to getting the game pre-released early to the new world. There I apologised on there behalf no more Whinging please!

Alas our New Zealand Brothers and Sisters and Pacific Island Communities will not get the game before the 19th of April.

Sorry bit off topic was crazylegsmurphy one of the muppets along with Animal the drummer. No offence intended. Just waiting for my pre-order to arrive?

Im lucky Toll has given me the day off.

Personally im going to wait for the whole game to be released as some people are having problems with the demo with Vista and Core Duo CPU's this is probably why the Preorder's have been delayed for another day.Originally posted by SirHurl:People.. just download the Demo an play a little bit. In few hours we are able to download the full game. This will be the right time to play the demo again. then the download is ready and you have all your livetime to play this game.
Only a few hours......

Australian and New Zealand preorders must be sent soon else we will be getting the game on the 19th or perhaps later?. I dont really care because I got tomorrow off work so I can sleep in. I just hope its not a debacle like when they released Supreme Commander on the direct drive and the pre-orderer's got there games two days later than everyone else. That was funny reading all the dissapointed peoples comments.

Yeah I know im slack, but just read the latest comments on the Wargammer thread. There seems to be a general consensus that this is not a finished product and people are waiting for more. Atleast battlefront are trying to look after you, but for me its time to move on.
