  1. well im the last one that complains about anything, especially if i waited for a game for about 4 years. but as excited i was when tow was FINALLY released, as disappointed i am after playing several missions.

i started close combat 3 - just to get sure i didnt lose the appetite on games in general - but cc3 is just perfectly balanced, has a logical makeup and in the end its just fun playing.

so i am very sad to have to tell you that tow was already uninstalled after only 3 days. my hardcopy will do its work as dust catcher perfectly i guess.

    :'(

  2. i dont really believe that russia is "ashamed" of the old flag or even the old regime. if you look at russias evening program on tv, theres a new show which is about josef stalins private life and (i didnt see it i just saw it in local tv news) he gets displayed as a nice, correct family father and brave hero of motherland russia.

if you imagine what would happen if there would be a show on german tv called "our lovely fuhrer" you may get an idea of what a HUGE difference exists in different cultures.

germany is ashamed of what happened 65 years ago, russia seems to be proud of it.

  3. FSW is quite good though i wouldnt play "ten hammers" which is part 2. FSW: Ten hammers supports much more strategic options that are mostly too complex and not very useful at all.

FSW is much more basic but how to say .. the basic controls "fit" much better in this game and provide more fun

  4. well its really hard to wait the.. "last weeks to release".., as i am up to date since it was called "battlefield command". after years of waiting, the last days seem to become the hardest. well but close combat III is doing its job still very well ^^

any status updates? pricing? ANYTHING? ;)

    yours,

    a thrilled austrian RTS-player
