I made a senerio and started playing it, the infantry moved fine. I then saved the game. When I reloaded the saved game and gave the infantry orders to move, it took between 5 to ten minutes for thwem to move 100 meters. Seems to me that this patch has made things worse than better.

Is there ever going to be a fix for this. I actually posted this months ago. I know about and have the newest patch. The problem still hasnt been addressed or fixed. Is anyone even looking into this at all?

yes I've tried everything I can think of. They wont show in campeign mode. I know the ones that dont show arent assigned to a unit at all. For instance create an Armor BN and go to deploy units. If you double click on the bn cdr they should all move when you move them. well the M1114's dont, and in the case of Syria it the UAZ 469. The only thing I can think of is that the campaign file is looking for those assigned BN, but the M114's and UAZ's arent assigned so they're not put into the senerio. If I run it as a regular battle everything shows up. Oh and thanks for the reply. I really would like to get this resolved or my campaign is worthless.

I thought the scripting in Operations flashpoint was easy after learning the commands. That would work great in this game. You could make your different units do whatever you wanted them to and even the scenerio creator wouldsnt know where the enemy was gonna pop up.

thanks for the reply, I was hoping there was a better way cuz I am doing what you described now. Maybe that would be a good suggestion for an update is to be able to read elevations on the terrain oBjective map.

Hi all, was wondering if the was any way to make elevation levels show under the mission tab when your trying to place terrain objectives. Its hard to determine if I'm putting my objectives in the right place without knowing where the high potion of my hills are in order to get my units in the right position. Thanks

ok, I was playing around a bit with the red side and the UAZ 469 doesnt show up either. All the units that dont show are not assigned to units. Yes they show up under an Infantry BN or whatnot, but if you purchase a BN on either side and go to deploy and select the whole BN by double clicking on the BN cdr and move them the M1114 and the UAZ 469 both stay in their initial position. I would think that would be saying they are not part of a unit, therefore when loaded in campaign mode the campaign file is not picking up these vehicles as part of the unit they should be assigned to. So by the campaign file there is no UAZ or M1114. Hope this helps to locate the problem somewhat.

hope someone can figure it out. its hell on the troops to have to walk 5 miles. LOL I did notice that all the hmmwvs that end up missing arent assigned to any specific unit.

I have the same problem with the hmmwvs all of the ones missing seem to be the M1114's that are for JTAC, BN cdr, snipers, and FO's. I myself have removed and started over again many times. Got threads about this in every area, but knowone seems to have an answer

I downloaded the muddy waters mod. In the directions it said to exract the folder into the z folder. I made a folder called z and put the folder into it. Is there something I must do to use it. I went into a scenerio that I had put a marsh in but there were no changes.

Well based off of experience. The Tank BN's loadout will be based on the type of unit expected to encounter. Usually platoons get cross attached also. For instance a tank company would assign its 3rd platoon to an infantry company and that infantry company would cross attach its 3rd platoon to the tank company.

It would be nice if the game could be update so that assigned groups moved together. For instance. I have a tank company - with an attached infantry platoon, but the infantry stays organic to its infantry company instead of falling under the command of the Tank company Headquarters. The way it is now it works great cross attaching units for the AI.

Hi all I'm having a problem here and hope for some insight. I created a campaign and when I run it I dont get any of my M1114's. They dont show up at all. When I run them as a battle they show up. I've tried removeing them and putting them back in but they still dont show up. I bought Marines hoping that that would fix my problem but it didnt help. I even recreated the campaign.

ok, so now i removed my units and imported them again, repositioned them on the map, and recreated my campaign. This is getting wacky. Now none of my hmmvw's show up that are attachments for BN hq's or my company JTAC. my scout hmmvw's show up. its just the BN and Company hmmvw's that are missing in the first scenerio. All the scenerios work fine in battle mode. Attached files for scenerios, brif, and campaigns for anyone that would like to take a look at this.

I had no units at all showing up. I took all the core units out of the scenerios and reloaded them. Now it runs the first scenerio and crashes to desktop. All the scenerios work by themselves. I have read about problems with mine and have some in the core units. This is my first campaign and have no idea what to do next. Oh and do I need to recreate the campaign when I make changes to the scenerios?

Hi all I tried my first attempt at creating a Campaign. Just a short one. Anyway heres what I did
1. created a scenerio with just the core units.
2. created my scenerios and imported the units from the core scenerio
3. created my briefings and my campaign script
4. went to my core units scenerio and selected create campaign.(got no errors in campaign script)
5. tried to run campaign-no units
6. read everything in the manual as well as searched here in forums, and as far as I can see I did what everyone said you should do.
feeling a little confused. HELP PLEASE

I've had the game and played it for quite some time now and noticed that there are no FIST for Armored companies, and there is only one tank in the BN Command section. Maybe it changed but an armored company (Armor or Infantry heavy) had a FISTV M901 and the BN Commander and XO had their own tanks as well as HMMWV's. Also the company level didnt have JTAC, the BN S3 controlled them from the TOC, and the TOC didnt have a FISTV. At least thats the way it was setup when I was in a Tank BN. Any chance of this being changed to the proper TOE when the next update comes out?
