I agree as well horses played a major part in logistics during WW2.And if im not mistaken the finish army used horses as well during the winter war and the continuation war.And lot of them been killed as resolved of that. Also i have to say that the finish army used the horses only in the logistics not in cavalry attacks. On this note im wondering why is finland not involved in this game ?Originally posted by theBrit:If you add horses, then some may argue for bicycles too!!!
(though I agree, horses played a major part in logistics during WW2)

It looks to be worth it m8 what dit i say guys just be patient and you get what you wont. Hopefully quite soon thanks rune i know personally for sure im looking forward to TOW.Originally posted by rune:LOL. Well, now you know some of the changes we requested. Not all but most. Add other things not mentioned yet, and scenario/campaign changes, and you get an idea of what we are working on.
Massive changes to the campaigns are being tested now. I see they added my figures for gun and tank armour.
MikeyD, you do indeed see Madmatt, Martin's, Steve's and my work. Not to mention tons of work from the Beta Testers.
We are in the home stretch. We have more testing to do, as you see, it is worth it.

Multiplayer demo of the WW2 action strategy game Battlestations: Midway. Includes the Islands of Soloman map.
If you gentleman like ww2 strategy games i would like to recommend that you check out this demo.
Instead of waiting for TOW you can actually do something different and check out this demo. And maybe it will stop you from complaining about when will they release TOW.

And if you stop and he will kill that cat then i will have too find him and kill him for animal cruelty. And then turn my salf in the closest cops station.Originally posted by Sivodsi:You tease, Kalibri, threatening to stop like that.
Don't stop! Love the posts and pics, keeps reminding me why I should keep checking this forum. In fact its the only reason why I keep the cat alive. Stop posting and I shoot the cat.
You couldn't have that on your conscience, could you?
Now im sure you couldn't have that on your conscience, could you?

Enough said!Originally posted by Darryl60:It never ceases to amaze me...the same people who complain about how long it's taking to finish and release a game are the same people who'd be the first to jump all over a company if they thought a game was released too soon.
As far as I'm concerned,BF can take as long as they want to polish TOW. If it takes another month or so than so be it.

Anyone that's as knee-deep in development as this guy, doesn't have time to indulge himself in forum jocularity. Hell, he doesn't even have time to use the spell-checker. Trust me, I've been there.Originally posted by Prince of Eckmühl:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by rune:
No, I do not have the time to say "infantry kneeling was coded today" as an example everyday. Things are being coded and for each code change, everything has t be re-tested. I have said this several times. Also we something is tested and it breaks something and is NOT added, we don't want to promise something that will not make it in. The game is being worked on.

Honestly, at times, some of you remind me of a two-year old in a shopping basket near the check-out stand, raising hell over a hershey-bar, just out of reach. Well, it may be annoying as hell, but momma ain't about to spoil your supper by giving in.
The longer the game's in development, the better it will likely be when it finally emerges from the belly of the BF beast.

I completely agree whit you there no argument from me.So Battlefront please start posting updates as you can see people are getting inpatient.Originally posted by franz:I do think it is rather poor that Battlefront are not posting any updates.
If I was running Battlefront Public relations dept. I would post weekly updates just as a matter of courtesy to the fans. I mean, how hard would that be ??

All i have to say is yes they have been saying lots of thinks but they have never given up and in my opinion they are working quite hard on this game.Actually im glad that they dit not released this game yet like EA would have done by now or Activision would have done the same and the game would be far from perfect. So my advice to you all is be patient we all been waiting for this game and i think we can wait little longer.
P.S. side note to the game development team as you can see people are getting inpatient so please give us some updates/screenshots/in game movies please.

Wouldn't they just download the instructions onto their PDAs? </font>Originally posted by Sivodsi:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />As far as realism is concerned, what makes you think some ground-pounders would have the know-how to operate an abandoned foreign tank?

I have to apologies but i dont agree whit you on the subject where you saying that they are down 100%.Because we are still here and we still discuss or argue about this game down to details.Yes i agree that there have not been any updates and yes they have been working on this game for years but look how much that game have changed since the first announcement of this game.Im sure they are given this game as much attention as needs be because in my opinion they dont wont this game to end up like call of duty 2.So give them the time they need and let them finish it and be reasonable and patient.Originally posted by Markus86:as Reichenberg said, they announced pre-order option for christmas. Christmas is over, and almost the first week in the new year. And no news at all.
Neither "hey guys, we are working hard, some problems with the new content occured but we are working on it." nor any other statement.
for me no news = bad news.
Nobody here wants that they push the game. Many of us waited for years for this game. So one or two more month don't matter. But I would like to know how things are going on, what they are working at.
Maybe another contest (art) to get over the time.
But the marketing or community support went down from 100% at the beginning to 1& now.

The very first folks to come out with guns ablazing about defects in ToW will be the exact same people who are grousing about the time that's being devoted to tidying up the game.Originally posted by Prince of Eckmühl:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by Other Means:
The fact that they're now taking so long to release the game proper is quite re-assuring really. At least to me.
Stand fast, and put your best effort forward.

I agree whit you just be patient gentleman and whit no doubt this will be the game you all been waiting for.Originally posted by howardb:To be honest my expectations for this game is increasing. Let it simmer for as long as BFC seems fit and we'll get a better product.
Just one suggestion though show us something like new official trailer.
