Thanks, David and danke Fritz. These particular mods are supposed to be cmmos - labeling, rules sets included, etc. I have McMMM, naturally. I'd rather use the cmmos. I guess I need a refresher course on how to add new mods. I recall it was pretty much a one-step operation, but it's been a long time.

Thank-you so much for taking time to respond. You are quite right about WHY I would change a file. Unfortunately, I don't think the McMMM folder is the answer. You see, you can set up McMMM to load files from any folder so long as they are zipped properly (I've been using it for a long time and have about a bizillion mods loaded), and I suspect that is where the problem lies. I think McMMM wants the files zipped a certain way. Any other thoughts, anyone?

I have McMMM 4.3 and I love it, EXCEPT that I cannot get it to to load a mod that I have unzipped, tweaked and re-zipped. By "tweaked" I mean changing certain BMP's from a numbered turret to a blank one, etc. Any thoughts out there?
