I get the same thing. Dual 2.5 G5 / nVidia 6800 ultra.
It appears that there is something else going on here... Network perhaps?
different graphic cards, different OS's. same issue, the only variable seems to be the time of the freezes, mine for example, is usually between 1 and 5 sec.
Although I have had freezes for up to ~10 seconds and I find myself suddenly 1 km from my last position. Which kind sucks if you're in a hover vehicle. You may find your self stuck in a ditch or flipped over on your back..

the card apparently doesn't matter .
I have an NV 6800 ultra and it does the same thing. Selecting HD makes it crash after level load. (mac)

move the units remaining to a column instead of a field below the columns.
also The control -M window needs to go away by itself when the drop menu comes up or when your killed, either way.

I can't seem to figure out how to use indirect fire.
How does one target? I can see the range banners pop in and out , but they seem to be on my teams units as well. can't shoot at them either..
also , what's in/out of range?

It's a bit slow to load on my machine also (G5 2.5x2/nv6800/3.5GB)
"cache objects" seems to take the longest here too.
5 min. seems really slow. On my machine its somewhere between 1 and 2 min. I haven't really timed it.

I've noticed that in several vehicles. Maybe it IS the fact that the turret hasn't completely swung around yet. If so, a visual indicator of turret position in Gunner view would be very useful.
Just working from memory , is the target reticle red with the turret not in position ?
if not , something like that might work
