OK, it was the drivers, 8178 solved it.
I now have more options (2 were greyed) and it works with everythin turned on.
It was a 6600GT btw.

It works now but I needed to drop all video options to their lowest.
Seems I have nvidia drivers 8174, I'm going to try with latest and will try to put back every options one by one to find out the culprit.

It's a slackware system that is able to have every 3D games play up to quake4.

After clicking for a few minutes on the keys, I thought that the "customize you keys" feature wasnt already implemented.
What about some kind of warning that it needs to to be saved _prior_ to modifications?
Also, in this aspect of things, the cross to quit the game is rather small, i didnt see it the first time I played the game.
And what about refreshing the network list by default when you get there?
