I hope it is patched.

I'd like to start out just as the US. However, I do not see that option available. In fact I do not see an option available to start off as just one country. It appears that you must start & then remain to be the Allied (or Axis) as whole. Is this correct? Or is there a way to just start out as one country (the US in my case)?
Thank you.

Cool. Thanks Moon.
Can't wait to play this guys. Personally, this war game is everything I could ever want because it will allow for a "world" scnerio.
-
I bought the game but recieved no link for a download.
-
Thanks. I just pre-ordered (or ordered).
-
From what it looks like it appears CD versions only are being sold. Will there be a downloadable version? I was going to pre-order toinight (4/12/06) and still will but that means I'll have to wait 2-3 weeks before I get it I suppose then, correct? I live in the US and I've had experiences where games I've ordered take about 2-3 weeks.
Any help and/or info wold be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ohh, Supreme Ruler 2010 is great. This game has so much depth that it is amazing. For me...I love that type of game. In fact, I'd rather call it a simulation. There is diplomacy and nearly everything that goes on today you can do in the game. Right now I am playing a campaign where I am the western US vs the southern & eastern US (the US spilt up due to govenring bodies that didn't agree on certain things). Canada also just declared war on me because they were upset that I was making uranium for "energy".Originally posted by SeaMonkey:As I remember it SR2010 was suppose to have the option for turn base.
I guess it got scrapped in the development process, or what about a future patch?
Kyros, what's the word from the Battlegoat guys?
So, I have now focused mainly on Canada. I waged war near the Michigan border and it took me nearly 5 hrs (in real time) to get within 100 miles of Montreal..and that is no exaggeration. Thats why I love this game so much. I just wish it was turn based but then again if that was the case then it would take that much longer. I mean, you can set the tone down for your units to attack not so "aggresivly". After I unite the whole United States of America I plan on taking all of Central & South America. From there I plan on sitting back and builing a superpower like no other (building more nuclear plants along with building a lot of public support for the coming war). This will lead me to become the next Alexander The Great if you get my drift. I may spare the UK * Israel as they could be great allies - which would secure oil and trading routes for my nation. You see, I have it all worked out, lol.
But really, this game is that deep.

Besides the nukes, ect...I would love to see a WWIII scenario (US and allies vs the Middle East, Russia and China. Will this be possible? If the answer is "no" thats fine because it's not a "make or break" deal for me its just that currently I am playing Supreme Ruler 2010 and although I like it very much I just wish there were a few things done differently like turn based for example.

I must have asked the wrong questions, huh?

As the title says, will there be a time limit on how long the game will last? I mean, I am the type of war gamer who would love to have a game last me for 10 months (in real time)........really. Or will SC2 be a type of game where it can be beat in 2-3 weeks or less?
note: based on about 4-6 hrs of play per week

Please forgive me if this has been asked already but will it be possible to have modern day warfare in SC2 since the modding capabilities seem very good in SC2?

anyone else have any info?

Once the game is released, is anyone here willing to take on the challenge of doing a world "domination" scenario where North/Central/South America & other parts of the world can be invaded by the Germans/Japs ect?
Heh, is this even going to be possible? (I should have asked this first, lol).
If so, I would love to see one made so that all areas of the world can be fought on.
edit:
I am only paln on playing single player and have no intention of playing online or via email (time restraints) So please keep that in mind when responding.
Thanks.
