As it stands they were fools to release such a beta multiplayer at full retail price of $45 ($63 for me I bought the game case which hasnt been delivered might I add).

Ohh yes, second time they did! Play BOF in MP and you know what I mean HAHAHAH

Battlefront, sucks in MP games eh? :D LOLOLOLOLOL

I've yet to play a MP game (lag & cant connect)

HAHA owned. With T-72 it was the same.

They said were looking into it, but it never came a patch or something. Nahh, I wont buy this. I dont want to do them a favor.

If Battlefront give us a MP patch for BOF, I will buy this game... :D

so, I never buy it, huh? tongue.gif

  3. So Monkwarrior, you see that nobody is answering that question right? Now, let's consider what the answer could be to this question?

    I would say:

    NO

Apperently, they have better things to do.

    Twiddle one's thumbs ...

    Or other projects? Who knows...

  4. Do you have changed some graphics option in your cfg.bat?

Open your cfg.bat file and click left on "Textures". Then look for "Procedual" and User's". On the right change your values for both to "Procedual". In game you change your graphics stettings to "users". You have a good PC to run this game on highest graphics settings.

Some time ago, I changed Textures and Procedual to something else, and I got graphics errors in the main menu.

    oh an i forgott.

since you hosted this on a F4.0AF fan/squadron site i asume that you are playing this game.

when i saw this i remembered my own F4.0AF version and thought about reinstalling it.

only problem i had with it was that i didnt saw my plane(graphix error) and that i couldnt get my joystic to work properly.

i got an relatively old Wingman Extreme Digital made by logitech.

no plan if its still useable today...

sice my last try i got a new video card(new is relative ;) its a GF2MX400 with 64mbram) i tuned my processor from 600mhz to ~890-900mhz and i got 512DDR instead of ~192SD ram.

now i think it could work better smile.gif

i will simply try it today tongue.gif [/QB]

    Ahh, LOL. :D

You looked at it? Cool. Yeah I made this website before my AF copy arrived. smile.gif

And yes, it's absolutely worth a try pandur. Do you know the old Falcon 4.0? Have you made any experience in multiplayer? With the latest patch v1.07, they erased some very strange graphics jittering on ground and in the air. Just watch the videos.

(German manual is also ready for download on this site)

Look at these online videos. (The second one is from me, flew with 2 buddies there)

Furthermore, some very talented individuals have released the first new models and textures. Look at these two AIM-120s and the AIM-9M. These new models are awesome. :D

    new_rockets

Other rockets/bombs will be released soon...

Don't you like the standart terrain? No problem, there is a good replacement.

Sorry guys that I'm off-topic, but I felt like to post it here, please forgive me and just ignore this post. smile.gif

I will look at it at the weekend, no problem. smile.gif

I dunno if it's allowed to share the .tga files in this forum, because they are a part of the cd you bought.

Just send me an email (matzfab2001 at compuserve.de) and I will give you the "vanilla" .tga file and the modded one.

  7. To open the .dds files you need this program:

    http://www.amnoid.de/ddsview/ddsview0663a.zip

It can open them, and you can save them as .bmp, .jpg files and other ones too. After you changed them, you can convert them back into .dds files.

This is the prgroam and the two alessillo posted to edit the texture of a tank.

Thanks for this information alessillo, I will try it out.

My installation of BOF is ****ed up, and I can't unistall and install it. When I click on the buttons of the autorun screen, nothing happens...

  8. Thank you for this little guide "how to hack in the datapack.cd file". :D

I will try to make a little symbol on the t-55 and I will post my first results here.

Just one question for you guys, will this work in LAN also? I mean, will other player see my texture?

Tried to invert the file, the selected lines go red and the furhter steps are unclear for me.

I have selected the first four lines, that begins with AZRC... and ends with ...\armor\

But the next steps aren't clear for me.

This is the part I must select to get the T55 texture right?

    selection1ea.jpg

After I did this, I copied the parts out of it in a new file, inverted it and saved it with the name su1t55_armor.tga

But I can't open the file...

Your english is very good mate. ;)

Never tried to extract a *.cd file. Which program do you use for extracting?
