  1. 2 reasons. i don't care to take the role of a serb in an agressive "war" of the kind they were involved in and to publish this "game" would suggest that those involved with it condone what serbs had done in those yrs, Srebrenicsa(sp). the games' setting could have been fictionalized but it wasn't. something set in the Fulda Gap would have been more preferable. the lesser reason being pathfinding and spinning in place. more work really needs to be dpne on this. btw, it wasn't PCGamer, but another mag and i think they were a bit generous in their review

    how about what someone mentioned in another post. a "what if" scenario. a soviet push thru the fulda gap during the hungarian crisis in '56. NATO be caught by suprise as it was distracted by other...events. tanks to use would be the M41, M47/48{?},T54/55, brit centurion, BRDM and whatever else APC was in use then. after all, WW2 has been done to death, tho i'd still likely get it :D
  3. had just HAD to look for a demo. found one too :D . looks like a rather decent sim, tho mainly into shooters it's gonna take a while to get used to keyboard only, with the exception of the commanders station. read that some have had probs with T72, but none on my rig...yet. not sure about the sanity of the AI driver. ordered to a waypoint and it doesn't seem to know which way, wasn't taking the most direct route. been waiting for something like this since armored fist2 was released. i'm assuming it's not available retail?

    edit: something i noticed in the gunnery training. AI "soldier" walking into a building and trying to continue on. hope all the AI ain't as brain dead
