  1. Hello. I have the disc version purchased copy of CM Battle for Normandy, receipt and order #. But my new computer does not have a disc drive. Battlefront never responds to emails as I found what you're supposed to do and contact them to get a Steam cd key and can't D/L the updates to get rid of the error I get when transferring files over from laptop that plays the game. They state that they respond within 24 hours, but have not in 2 cases (tickets).

  2. The one thing I don't like about the camera controls is it sems that you can only do one camera movement at a time, where in CM1, CMBB, and TOW you can pan (encircle) and move the camera forward/back, ect. at the same time. Which made for a cool effect, and a truly free camera. In CBSF if your panning and you hit the move forward, ect. button, it stops all movement and you have to repress forward to start it moving again and can only press one. I know this is how CMSF is, I just liked it better the other way.

  3. I had no problem setting up a LAN game between my computer and my son's, however, the games were all too laggy to be considered playable. My Dell XPS runs the game great, my son's computer is a little slower, but it only works (gets connected) if my son's computer hosts, but I would think a direct connection shouldn't play that bad. I'm figuring any connections over the internet would be even worse and am probably not going to even try.

  4. I made move camera forward - W, Move back - S, rotate left - A, rotate right - D, Zoome to unit-E, and I left elvevation on the mouse wheel. Helped alot for me, being right handed. I also took away movement and attack arrows for looks. Plus took away always showing icons. I also don't like seeing enemy icons on units that are too far away to really see clearly, seems like it's cheating to know where AT guns are when you really can't see them from where you are. But it helps gameplay with the site line colored circle system. But I think the games site distances are too long honestly, but maybe that's just when my guys are standing up. Game growing on me.

  5. Ok, I finished the single mission Whirlwind, then it goes to a screen where I can up the points for my surviving men (I thought ok, maybe there is a second part to the mission). I distribute the points and save it. Now what? Will I have the experienced men if I replay the mission, or play the other American mission? Or does it automatically go to the experience points screen just because a mission ended? I can see this is for continueing campaign missions, but after a single player mission what does it do when you hit continue after giving out exp points? Seems like hitting continue just goes back to the points distribution again.

  6. Yes, the thing I most miss is the quick mission type generator (Med Total War, CM, CC) where you get/give points and pick your forces and map, or create one, then have a battle of whatever size you want. Makes replayability almmost endless. I think the mission/campaign generator will be much too confusing for me.
