Is this famous Chinese xenon strobe missile interrupter device modelled in any way?

Yeah. Privyet Tovarisch and all that.
So when do we get to see some Sinai and Golani metal?

I'd love it more if it had no setting at all. And more tanks. Choose terrain type. Choose opponent. Eat pizza and 'splode stuff up.Originally posted by Mace:I think if you're a tank fanatic, you'll love this game because it features tanks!
I'll check out the demo when it's available. We'll see.
(Rob K., you need any Soviet military maps, various scales, 1:25,000 and up? I got a source.)

Even me. A good modern (read post world war) tank sim is a great idea. I just think the setting for this sim could be better. I think the limitations of the setting are going to restrict sales. Just my opinion.Originally posted by MikeyD:Welcome to the CM board. Your game's got everyone excited out here!

Considering how popular it is to play Nazis (not to mention Soviets or Imperialists), I find the sudden acquisition of conscience by so many to be somewhat amusing.Originally posted by Speedy:As for the setting, it doesn't bother me at all I generally don't identify to closely with nationalities or ethics of the games I play (most(all?) games I play involve killing, people identifying to closely with that I find somewhat bothersome.)
If it bothers you to much think of it this way, Serb, Croat, Bosnian all sides committed atrocities so no matter which side you play you will be beating up on the baddies.

I don't know about Soviet practice, but around here a tank puts its barrel at maximum elevation when it moves with a round up.
